How to find subscriptions on your Discover statement

Your Discoverstatement lists every recurring charge you're paying. Export it as a CSV, and you can find the subscriptions you forgot about in about a minute — without ever sharing your Discover login.

Step 1 — Download your Discover statement as a CSV

1. 1Sign in at discover.com and open Activity & Statements.
2. 2Select Download Transactions.
3. 3Choose the spreadsheet (CSV/Excel) format, set a ~90-day range, and download.

Tip. Discover's download is on the website; the app focuses on statements (PDF), which aren't machine-readable. Aim for about 3 months of history — a charge needs to appear two or three times to be recognised as recurring, and a longer range also catches annual renewals.

Step 2 — Find the recurring charges

You can scan the CSV by hand — sort by description, and look for the same merchant billing the same amount on a regular cycle (here's the full manual method).
